Cooler temperatures are here and it is time to start layering in Washington. Some lucky states are still wearing summer fashions (stares at California) but here in the Northwest it is time to get practical. Of course the pups do not want to stay in and snuggle up even if their pawrents do! I am finding that layering is a nice compromise as the seasons transition. We have a little grassy play park near our Starbucks that has the most amazing vibrant leaves falling.

Moms new favorite fall clothing staple is the olive utility jacket that layers well with sweaters, flannels or t-shirts. She also loves the pockets to hide various doggie necessities! This jacket is hooded, which is great in case of rain too.

Of course some pups are already feeling the fall chill and some of us don't mind bringing out the sweaters. Some breeds have nice insulation already built in their coats but other breeds that have single layer coats may benefit from a little something extra on chilly days. I am wearing my favorite old Juicy Couture sweater that we found on ebay a few years ago. I wish we could find more in other colors!

Does your pup have a favorite sweater too?

Also, don't forget the Nordstrom clearance sale is on now with up to 40% off selected styles! Sale ends November 11.
